History
Renewable Energy Society was started on 1 June 2012 to increase the percentage of power generated from renewable sources such as wind, solar, geothermal, biofuels, tidal power, wave power, or hydroelectricity. It began as an RMIT University project in which a team of five people was required to write a business plan and project plan for a company.
Nowadays Renewable Energy Society has members in Australia, the Philippines, India, Uganda, Russia, Canada, the United States of America (USA), the United Kingdom (UK), Israel, Uganda, and South Africa.
